BioPAL has developed PROTrack™ to enable researchers to locate, track, and visualize proteins of interest.  PROTrack is a line of protein labeling kits.  BioPAL has developed a gadolinium-based kit to allow research to track proteins-of-interest using MRI.  The kits are stable and nonradioactive.

In addition, BioPAL can perform the labeling process for the customer.  Interested researchers are encouraged to contact BioPAL to discuss the feasibility of the project.

In addition to magnetic resonance imaging, BioPAL has also developed protein labeling kits for neutron activation technology (NA) and for time-resolved fluorescence (TRF).

The Product

1. Standard Protein Labeling Kits
   Each kit contains the bifunctional chelate, the gadolinium salt, required buffers and instructions. The kit is designed to label 1 to 10 mg of protein.  The sensitivity of detection is a function of many factors, including labeling efficiency and sample matrix.
