BioPAL has developed PROTrack™ to enable researchers to locate, track, and quantify proteins of interest.  PROTrack is a line of protein labeling kits and is designed to be subsequently assayed by time-resolved fluorescent technology.  The kits are available in two different isotopic markers with additional labels under development.  The kits are stable and nonradioactive.

In addition, BioPAL can perform the labeling process for the customer.  Interested researchers are encouraged to contact BioPAL to discuss the feasibility of the project.

In addition to time-resolved fluorescence, BioPAL has also developed protein labeling kits for neutron activation technology (NA) and by magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

The Product

1. Standard Protein Labeling Kits
   Each kit contains the bifunctional chelate, lanthanide salt, required buffers, developing solution and instructions. The kit is designed to label 1 mg of protein.  The sensitivity of detection is a function of many factors, including labeling efficiency and sample matrix.
