BioPAL provides the research community with a chelated conjugates of albumin
designed for PET imaging and radiotherapy research applications. There are
approximately 10 to 15 chelates conjugated to albumin. The molecular
weight of the albumin conjugate is ~74 kDa. The conjugate is supplied as a
1 ml solution containing 10 mg of protein in a 2 ml serum vial. In order
to use these materials, the researcher must add his/her radiolabel to about 1 mg
of appropriate albumin chelate, incubate for a short time, and purify the
product by passing over a G-25 column. Chelated conjugates of albumin are
also provided co-labeled with fluorescent dyes.
BioPAL has developed
PROTrackTM
technology to enable researchers to locate, track, and quantify
proteins of interest in in vivo system.
PROTrack
is a line of protein labeling kits and is designed for applications
in nuclear medicine involving studies related to PET imaging and radiotherapy.
The kits are available with different chelates designed specifically for
isotopes such as yttrium-90, bismuth-213, gallium-68, and ziconium-89.
