Technical Information

There has been increased interest in modeling injection materials in in vivo systems using MRI technology.  For example, one could model the fate of implanted cells, using a 15 µm labeled microsphere or visualize an embolic region using a labeled 100 µm microsphere.  Therefore, BioPAL has developed FERROTRACK™, a product-line specific for these MRI applications.  Upon request, BioPAL can provide different sized microspheres labeled with iron.

The Product

FERROTRACK microspheres are available in three different sizes: 15 µm and 100 µm.  FERROTRACK microspheres are packaged in 10 ml sealed serum bottles.  Applications for these products include injection and injection-site visualization, vascular imaging, and embolism studies.  NOT FOR HUMAN USE.
