Gado CELLTrackTM

Technical Information

BioPAL has developed Gado CELLTrack™ to aid researchers locate, track and quantify implanted cells in in vivo systems using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) technology.  Gado CELLTrack is a 30 nm gadolinium colloid.  As shown in the figure below, this reagent provides a strong T1 signal that is at minimum comparable to the same molar concentration as Gd-DTPA.  In addition, BioPAL can provide this reagent containing a small amount of other isotopes to allow for quantification via neutron activation.  Patents Pending.

 

 

The above Figure shows the T1 weighted image from a series of compounds having the same molar concentration are shown on the left and normalized intensity values are tabulated on the right.  Row 1 is Gado-DTPA, Row 2 is BioPAL's colloidal gadolinium reagent (Gado CELLTrack), Row 3 is BioPAL's colloidal europium reagent having the same size and matrix as colloidal gadolinium, and Row 4 is PBS.  The R1=4 for Gado-DTPA and R1=5 for Gado CELLTrack.

The Product

Two ml of Gado CELLTrack is packaged in a 2 ml sealed serum bottles.  The product is provided having either a neutral or a negative surface.  NOT FOR HUMAN USE.
