Technical Information

FeREX™ is a super paramagnetic magnetite (USPIO), having an iron core of approximately 10 nm and the size of the resulting colloidal matrix ranges from 50-150 nm.  This reagent is classified as a darkening agent acting through the T2 relaxation process.  FeREX can be used as an MRI contrast reagent.

The Product

FeREX is packaged in 10 ml sealed serum bottles at a concentration of 10 mg Fe/ml.
