Technical Information

FeREX™ is a super paramagnetic magnetite (USPIO), having an iron core of approximately 10 nm and the size of the resulting colloidal matrix ranges from 50-150 nm.  This reagent is classified as a darkening agent acting through the T2 relaxation process.  FeREX can be used as an MRI contrast reagent or FeREX can be used to label and track cells using MRI technology.

The Product

FeREX is packaged in 10 ml sealed serum bottles at a concentration of 10 mg Fe/ml.
