BioMagic is a line of magnetic particles and are suitable for use in immunoassay, RNA separation, and cell sorting applications.  Given our colloidal manufacturing experience and our low overhead, BioPAL is able to provide its magnetic particle product-line at a substantial discount compared to competitive products.

The Products

1. BioMagic - Amino-Terminated:  1.5 µm amine-terminated, iron oxide magnetic particles and are packaged in a 10 ml sealed bottle (50 mg/ml) suspended in distilled water/EDTA solution.
2. BioMagic - Immobilization Kit:  BioPAL has developed an immobilization kit for those researchers new to magnetic separation technology to customize the magnetic particles with their antibody.  The BioMagic immobilization kit consists of a suspension of 1.5 µm amine-terminated, iron oxide magnetic particles, 25% solution of high purity glutaraldehyde, and instructions.
3. BioMagic - Biotin:  1.5 µm biotin labeled, iron oxide magnetic particles and are packaged in a 5 ml sealed bottle (5 mg/ml) suspended in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.5) containing 0.1% BSA with EDTA and sodium azide added.  One ml (5 mg) of BioMagic Biotin will bind >0.3 mg avidin.
4. BioMagic - Streptavidin:  1.5 µm streptavidin labeled, iron oxide magnetic particles and are packaged in a 5 ml or a 50 ml sealed bottle (5 mg/ml) suspended in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.5) containing 0.1% BSA with EDTA and sodium azide added.  One ml (200 µl) of BioMagic Streptavidin will bind 2.0 µg biotin.

BioPAL offers a line of secondary antibody BioMagic iron oxide magnetic particles that are approximately 1.5 µm is size.  These products are ideally suited for use as a second antibody in radioimmunoassays, enzyme immunoassays and cell sorting that utilize an IgG primary monoclonal antibody.

1. BioMagic - Goat anti-Mouse IgG:  1.5 µm Goat anti-Mouse IgG magnetic particles and are packaged in a 50 ml or a 500 ml sealed bottle (1 mg/ml) suspended in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.5) with EDTA and sodium azide added.  One ml of BioMagic Goat anti-Mouse IgG will bind >0.2 mg of mouse IgG.
2. BioMagic - Goat anti-Rabbit IgG:  1.5 µm Goat anti-Rabbit IgG magnetic particles and are packaged in a 50 ml or a 500 ml sealed bottle (1 mg/ml) suspended in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.5) with EDTA and sodium azide added.  One ml of BioMagic Goat anti-Rabbit IgG will bind >0.1 mg of rabbit IgG.
3. COMING SOON! BioMagic - Goat anti-Rat IgG:  1.5 µm Goat anti-Rat IgG magnetic particles and are packaged in a 50 ml or a 500 ml sealed bottle (1 mg/ml) suspended in phosphate buffered saline (pH 7.5) with EDTA and sodium azide added.  One ml of BioMagic Goat anti-Rat IgG will bind >0.15 mg of rat IgG.
